ContinueLamps and LED lights
Bulb and LED lights differ in lighting technology and a number of other parameters.
The main differences between them are:
1. Glow technology:
- Incandescent lamps: Use traditional lamps, such as tungsten nitride bulbs (Wolfram Incandescent Bulbs) or halogen lamps. They consume more energy and heat, which usually leads to a shorter service life.
- LED lights: Use LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) that generate light using semiconductor materials. They consume less energy, have a longer service life and emit less heat
2. Brightness and efficiency:
- Incandescent lights: Generally less bright and less efficient than LED lights.
- LED lights: Able to produce bright light with minimal energy consumption, making them more efficient to use.
3. Term of service:
- Incandescent lights: Tend to have a short lifespan due to heat loss and rapid bulb wear.
LED lights: Have a significantly longer lifespan of thousands of hours because LEDs are highly wear-resistant.
In general, LED lights are more efficient, energy efficient and longer lasting compared to incandescent lights, which makes them more popular among consumers.
