ContinueManufacturing of Custom Trailers
A special-purpose trailer is a trailer that is individually designed and manufactured for transporting special cargo, specialized equipment, or machinery that requires specific conditions during transportation, operation, and storage.
The main load-bearing elements of the special-purpose trailer’s structure are the frame and the drawbar, which are made of profile steel tubes of various cross-sections and wall thickness (not less than 2 mm). The flooring is made of moisture-resistant automotive-grade bakelite plywood (not less than 12 mm) or sheet metal (not less than 1.5 mm). The side panels are made of galvanized profiled sheet metal or moisture-resistant bakelite plywood, and can be either foldable or removable. Trailer structures are hot-dip galvanized and painted, and if required, can be additionally equipped with a PVC tarpaulin manufactured by the Belgian company SION with a density of 630 g/m². The running gear of all trailer models is equipped with either a leaf-spring suspension with shock absorbers or a rubber torsion bar suspension. The wheel hubs are fitted with double-row, sealed, maintenance-free roller bearings. Trailers with a gross weight over 750 kg are equipped with a braking system. Lighting equipment is moisture-protected, and all wiring is installed in a special double-insulated casing.
All trailers feature a double safety margin for the body and suspension relative to the rated load capacity.
